@captain jo AFTER TOUCH DOWN left rudder and right ailerons is the cross wind technique for a small cessna which is very dangerous on big airliner like the 747 as one wing will produce much more lift than the other and might cause engine strike I believe the correct technique here is to apply full forward yoke and maintain directional control with the rudder Read your SOPs captain 😅😁

Just to be perfectly clear. Assumed temperature and derated are NOT the same thing. Derate is a new lower MAX thrust, whereas assumed is a lower thrust based on an assumed higher temperature which lowers the thrust.

It also has to do with the type of operation. The very aggressive flying would have made the targeting much more difficult to hit the target during the execution of the mission. It requires the 2 seater F-18.
